[2010-08-19] There were made the inspections at the training places of the foreigners granted asylum and the work places in the enterprises

Although due to the evaluations of the Department of Statistics the unemployed people made 297,2 thousands in the second quarter of 2010 or 3,8 thousands more than in the first quarter of 2010, the Refugees Reception Center, implementing the project „Knowledge, Work – Future“ (the perennial program of the European Refugee Fund in Lithuania of 2008-2013 and the annual program of the European Refugee Fund in Lithuania of 2009) had the opportunity to decrease the number of the unemployed people among the foreigners granted asylum.

In May 2010 the Refugees Reception Center selected 5 enterprises: CJSC “Maternas”, CJSC “Didneriai”, CJSC “Agnivyra”, CJSC “Mentora & Co, CJSC “Egsta”, which wanted to train the foreigners granted asylum for 3 months to work in the work place with the rented equipment, later to employ for the trial period in the case, if the foreigners granted asylum will be ready to work after the training. On May 30, 2010 the three-sided agreements were made between the Refugees Reception Center, 5 enterprises and 10 foreigners granted asylum. The enterprises has obligated to train the foreigners granted asylum to work in the work place with the rented equipment and later to employ the foreigners granted asylum for the trial period for 3 months since June 1, 2010 according to the signed three-sided agreement, that they could try their power working independently. The training instructor was assigned to each foreigner granted asylum.

CJSC “Maternas” (Kaunas) trained 2 foreigners granted asylum: 1 – to work with the crawler tread in the natural environment, 1 – to work high-rise works; CJSC “Didneriai” (Vilnius) – 1 foreigner granted asylum to work in the storehouse with the loader, CJSC “Agnivyra” (Jonava) – 2 foreigners granted asylum to work as cooks; CJSC “Mentora & Co (Kaunas) – 3 foreigners granted asylum to work as bakers; CJSC “Egsta” (Jonava) – 2 foreigners granted asylum to work building works.

In July 2010 there were made the inspections at the places of the employment of the foreigners granted asylum. The goal of the inspections – to get acquainted with the provided services of the training for the foreigners granted asylum and to evaluate it. It was determined during the inspections, that the foreigners were taught to work at the work places of the enterprises with the equipment rented for this purpose. All the foreigners granted asylum had the instructors, who taught the foreigners and filled in the register – book. The representatives of the enterprises and the foreigners granted asylum didn’t have any complaints, but they were happy with the progress of the students, working with the equipment.
