[2010-07-20] In July – August 2010 the survey on the possibilities of the business promotion of the foreigners granted asylum in Lithuania

Implementing the activities of the project “Knowledge, Work – Future” ”(the perennial program of the European Refugee Fund in Lithuania of 2008-2013 and the annual program of the European Refugee Fund in Lithuania of 2009) the survey on the possibilities of the business promotion of the foreigners granted asylum in Lithuania is proceeding in July – August 2010. During the survey there will be evaluated the usefulness of the implemented activities during the project (paying the most attention to the activities, which can be directly related to the possibilities of the business promotion of the foreigners granted asylum in Lithuania), comparing the results of two years, and the concrete references increasing the possibilities to promote own business of the foreigners granted asylum or to start own individual activity in Lithuania, providing the direction, the possible methods.

The quantitative and qualitative methods are used for the gathering of the data and the analysis: not less than 10 foreigners granted asylum and not less than 20 experts on the integration of the foreigners granted asylum is made.

The report of the survey will be prepared for the publishing and translated into Russian and English languages, seeking to present it not only to the people interested in this field but also for the representatives of the target group. The publication made on the basis of the survey will be filled by the photos, the short summary of the implemented activities of the project, the advices, how to stimulate the foreigners granted asylum to use the possibilities of the independent integration into the labor market in the future.

Now the questioning of the foreigners granted asylum and the experts on the integration of the foreigners granted asylum is completed, using the structured interview. The questionnaire was placed in the internet website www.tyrimai-rppc.lt, the topic “Tyrimas 2010”. The questioning was implemented until July 15, 2010.
