[2010-01-29] The spread of the project “Knowledge, Work – Future”

The Refugees Reception Center, implementing the project “Knowledge, Work – Future” (the perennial program of the European Refugee Fund in Lithuania of 2008-2013 and the annual program of the European Refugee Fund in Lithuania of 2008) provides the information to the society about the foreigners granted asylum.

The results of the sociological surveys, made in 2007 and 2008, showed, that the society misses the information about the foreigners granted asylum. According to the data of the surveys on the usefulness of the means of spread, the most effective information is accepted by the consumer, when it is provided in the sound and visual form.

It is noticed that especially little information about the foreigners granted asylum reaches TV. The means of spread are usually presented to the society only during the special organized events.

During the project the following means of spread will be created and used:

1. the information video clips, using which the information will be spread not only about the project, but also about the topicalities of the integration of the target group;
2. the means of the spread are following: leaflets about the project (in three languages), the table calendars, the information board.

Now the preparation works of the leaflets about the project, the table calendars, the information board are proceeding. It is planned, that the products of the publication will be produced until the end of January. The means of spread will be distributed during the events, organized in 2010, the meeting with the employers, the meeting with the representatives of the various institutions.

It is planned to create one information video clip in February 2010, the second one will be created in June and presented during the event of World Refugee Day. The created video clip will be broadcasted on TV once a week.
